The Communications Team is the voice of the Peacebuilding Initiative, working to inform, connect and inspire. Collaborating with every other team, we ensure our mission resonates within the student community and beyond.

The News department of our communications team creates the Newsletter, Peace News, Website and Podcast. The website manager oversees our digital presence, keeping event details, team profiles and resources accessible and up to date on our official website. The Peace News Team contributes thought-provoking and relevant articles on peacebuilding and working with students to publish their submissions, as a new PBI feature. Meanwhile, the brand-new newsletter team keeps our community informed with concise updates on PBI events, news, podcasts and key initiatives. The Podcast strives to bring digestible, relevant, and inspiring stories about youth in peacebuilding and “seeds of peace” to listeners. Together, the Comms team amplifies the Initiative’s work, aiming for more engagement and inspiring actions towards bridge-building opportunities between Youth and peacebuilding professionals.
